Four important reasons why you should make wooden toys for their children

Toys are very important because they teach children to understand the world around them. Toys
help children learn the law of cause and effect, and perform a lot of skills they will need in later life.

I recently learned that toys for the first time in history are discovered by archaeologists in Egypt. These toys from about 4000 years ago, were made of natural materials like wood or stone. antique toys were made primarily by parents or relatives of children who use them.

Is this just the story, or you can still make Wooden Toys for Children? I will give you four great reasons why we can.

Safety and durability
All parents want their children to play safely. For that reason, most parents prefer wooden toys at home because they are safer and more durable than their plastic. Plastics can become brittle with age and have a tendency to break into sharp fragments. On the other hand plastic toys may contain toxic chemicals used to soften or harden the plastic.

And best of all wooden toys are very strong. They can handle rough handling of the child and the toy is still perfect and uninterrupted. This gives your child the freedom to do anything with the toy you can imagine. The fact is that wooden toys can last for many years. Many children who visit their grandparents to play with wooden toys that their parents used when they were young

Education Benefits
Children sit in front of a TV is not the gaming environment most parents seek for their children. Instead of simply watching a screen, children benefit from the use and manipulation of real wooden toys. Do you know that the child's ability to control her toy at will builds creativity and skills to make decisions? Playing with real wooden toys also stimulates your imagination and build hand-eye coordination.

Wooden Educational Toys give children the opportunity to create new games every time they play with them. For this reason, children will keep coming back to play with these toys. This makes wooden toys for your child best.

Fun to give and fun to make
Most children love wooden toys, and lots of (great) parents love to make these toys. Just think about the satisfaction you experience when you see your (grand) children play for hours with a single truck made of wood, wooden doll house or rocking horse?

I am over 50 years old now, but do you know what I still remember my childhood? Yes, I still remember the wooden toys, my father did for me and my two brothers.

Easy to do
"Easy to do?" You ask. "I am not an experienced carpenter or even an amateur expert." That may be true, but let me give you some tips for beginners:

- Read some books about different types of forests and how they can use various tools, etc.
- Find a qualified mentor, and ask for help with your first project
- Find a simple project to start, as birdhouses and feeders or different types of wooden toys.
- Handcrafted Wooden Toys
Do you know that there are many woodworking plans for unskilled carpenters. No, I do not mean cheap, hard to read copies. I mean clear and detailed, and guides step-by-step how you can make wooden toys, banks, bee hives or the owners of the plants. When you start with a simple project, then I am sure you will become a woodworker and passion (grand) children will be happy with the results of his hobby.
